Bandar Mahkota Cheras - Who is behind Grand Saga Sdn Bhd?

Grand Saga was awarded the toll concessionaire in 1995.The major shareholder is member of Lims. Who are they to get this contract of the decade?

It is a very lucrative business to collect toll at Cheras-Kajang Expressway as the profit is almost guarantee. Who offer this business opportunity to Lims?

Why are they so powerful? They can block the main access road of a township with 60000 population.
They can hire gangsters to hit residents.
They can prevent pukimak police from stopping the gangsters.
Where is Pak Lah? Still sleeping?

  1. In 2007, a restructuring had been done where Taliworks Bhd acquired 55% of Cerah Sama Sdn Bhd and Cerah Sama Sdn Bhd acquired 100% of Europlex Consortium Sdn Bhd and Peak Synergy Sdn Bhd. In other words, Cerah Sama controls 100% of Grand Saga.

  2. Whereas Cerah Sama is now jointly controlled by Taliworks (55%) and Bunga Abadi Sdn Bhd (45%) (where Bunga Abadi is 100% owned by LGB holdings Sdn Bhd).

  3. Family members of the late Datuk Lim Ah Bak @ Lim Geok Bak (former Vice Chairman of Taliworks Bhd) are major shareholders in LGB Holdings Sdn Bhd, where LGB Holdings Sdn Bhd is the largest shareholders in Taliworks Bhd Selangor government-listed infrastructure arm Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bhd had a 42% stake in Grand Saga in earlier years. KPSB is believed to have sold its interest in Grand Saga in 1999/2000, before it was listed in 2003.

  4. But still Selangor is directly related to Grand Saga. KPSB hold 20% of Taliworks. The Chairman of Kumpulan Perangsang Bhd, Dato' Haji Abd Karim Bin Munisar, is also the Chairman of Taliworks Bhd.

  5. The Managing Director of Kumpulan Perangsang Bhd, Datin Paduka Juma'ah Binti Moktar, is a Director of Taliworks Bhd. On the other hand, LGB Holdings Sdn Bhd also one of the top 10 shareholders in KPSB.

  6. What drama is this? Selangor MB, Tan Sri Khalid what could you do now?
